Let’s find out the most relevant type of creatives for different nutra niches using a spying service (+ tips from the market experts)

Hi everyone! It’s not that easy to drive nutra traffic. We’ve got endless problems with advertising accounts, trackers, proxies, content cloaking systems, and creatives – and all of these are an integral (and exhausting) part of our work. However, the profit makes up for the time-consuming labor. Nitra has a lot of niches to offer and every one of them works with different approaches. Some topics show better conversions with aggressive ad sets, others value more reserved and thoughtful approaches.

The topic of creatives is ever-green, even though websites we use are responsible for the majority of the leads we drive, and the cost per lead depends on the creative. And the lower the cost is, the higher the profit.

Different niches really require different types of creatives. Some topics have higher conversions with video ads, others with teaser ads. So, we at Webvork decided to puzzle this issue out and see the creatives that affiliates tend to use the most, regarding various directions of nutra. To do this, we’re going to open a spying service and see what it can find in order to collect the creatives data. So, here’s some background info on this study:

Spying services for affiliate marketing

There are tons of different spying services: AdSpy, WhatRunsWhere, Adplexity, MagicAdz, Adheart, and others.

At the moment, there are no spying services for TikTok ads. TikTok has its own free spying service, it’s their ad library and it contains a huge number of different ad materials from this network specifically, regarding all verticals and niches.

But let’s get back to monitoring creatives, and we’re only going to track nutra niches.Let’s go! 

High blood pressure

Hypertension is an old direction of the nutra vertical, its offers have been around for years. This sub-vertical of nutra is not very successful, at least not in Europe. We didn’t find a lot of creatives, so the results are pretty poor. Both video creatives and teasers are now used for the topic of hypertension, we’d say, it’s 30 to 70. The approaches are classic, with no complex messages. Creatives depict pressure measuring devices, blood vessels changed due to high blood pressure, and folk remedies for lowering/increasing pressure, very few people drive this sort of traffic (according to the spying service). So, you’re free to launch a campaign now and take all the profit for yourself. 

Parasites

It’s hard to call “parasites” a top-class nutra niche because it’s tough to work with, it’s difficult to come up with good approaches. But if you can find a nice campaign approach, then it can serve you a long time and with a nice profit. In the screenshots, you can see people driving one creative with the same approach. This is probably the same affiliate or just one affiliate team’s work, they may be testing or seriously working with this one. We haven’t found any video creatives for the parasites topic in spying services, they’ve only got teaser ads.

It’s hard to pull such video creatives on Facebook (forbidden in Russia) due to many specific and shocking images of parasites, so people only drive teaser ads. 

Virility

Now, virility is one of the flagships of nutra. It’s an old niche and it doesn’t depend on a season or a GEO. One-third of the male population has virility problems, which means that affiliates can always make money with such offers. After surfing a spying service, we were able to draw a conclusion that there are no video creatives at the moment, we couldn’t find any for virility offers. But there are tons of teaser ads with obvious, simple, and, most probably, highly convertible approaches. Create your teaser ads, add adult pre-landing pages, and enjoy the profit. 

Weight loss

Weight loss offers are a timeless classic of the nutra vertical. If you leave affiliate marketing and come back after 6-12 months, you will see that there’s still the same ton of affiliates driving weight loss offers. Almost everyone dreams of losing weight, it’s just that some want to lose less and others want to lose a bit more. There are so many weight loss creatives in spying services, we were able to find 4 thousand with the filters we’ve set. It’s a broad topic, so people use both videos and teaser ads, we’d say, it’s 40 to 60. Please note that videos are 5 seconds long, and not 15-20. 

Prostatitis

Many people drive traffic to this niche because it’s a serious and widespread male problem. Prostatitis harms erection, causes painful urination, incontinence, and lots of other problems. Don’t confuse this topic with virility. Sometimes people drive prostatitis offers using adult niche approaches or virility since prostatitis provokes impotence, but these approaches are so different in reality. Prostatitis requires a medical approach, the creatives depict doctors, the prostatic gland, people having problems with sleep, pain in the crotch area. And virility offers show phallic-looking items, condoms, and girls. There aren’t that many video creatives here, maybe 1 in 30. This means that teaser ads bring higher conversion rates. 

Joints

It’s an old topic as well. Affiliates drive teaser ads, we haven’t seen any videos here. You see, teaser ads can easily convey the message here, so users can instantly get the idea. There’s no need for video creatives, so people don’t bother making them. 

Cystitis

Cystitis is a rather new nutra direction, so it’s still hard to thoroughly analyze it. Cystitis is a women’s disease that strikes many women, so the offers are very relevant. Creatives are all teaser ads, with medical approaches or depicting incontinence. We couldn’t find any video creatives for cystitis. So, launch teaser ads campaigns and count the profit!

Speaking from our experience, there is no one true creative that can always be right for some nutra niche. We usually drive Facebook (forbidden in Russia) traffic and they like video ads better, regardless of the offer. This is just like new gif ads creatives that have appeared in some teaser networks, they have nicer CTRs than static images.

2.       Daniil Alexeev, The Creativy studio owner (they have their own media buying department):

There’s no drastic difference because if there was, then everyone would have already either only worked with images or videos. This depends on each certain affiliate, some find working with videos easier, as they can better hide their true intention using videos, so that only real human users can understand what the ad is actually about. And others like working with images better.
