How to reduce the likelihood of getting logged out from your trend account (+ tips from the market experts)

Hi everyone! Those affiliates that work with Facebook have to face incredible challenges on a daily basis, all to get those precious leads. Everyone knows that the main asset when it comes to working with Facebook is your account. A good account is what brings money to affiliates.

Affiliates work with different types of accounts: farmed, automatically registered, self-registered, rented, trend accounts. And, when it’s already common knowledge as to how the majority of these accounts work, well, trend accounts aren’t that simple. It’s all because, except for just getting banned, these can also get you logged out. This is just like getting banned but worse. This leads you to lose your account access without any possibility to lift this “ban” or submit an appeal. So, we have decided to tell you how you can reduce the likelihood of getting logged out.

How is getting logged out from a trend account dangerous?

There are several trend account categories:

1. Regular accounts that haven’t launched any ads yet. These are a lot like farmed accounts but better (they’re more organically active and have been around longer), these have better relationships with Facebook and don’t cost a fortune, only around $2-5.

2. Debt accounts. These already have ads campaign history and don’t have the last bill paid. Facebook has a lot of trust in these accounts because they’ve already run some ads. Debt accounts are pretty common and the only downside to them is that before launching your ad, you need to pay off that debt first. It can be $10 or even $200, yet there’s no guarantee that your account won’t get banned after you pay that bill. Therefore, you can have significant losses using these accounts. Overall, they cost $2-3.

3. Spend accounts. These also already have ads history, and their spending limit can be $100 or even $500, depending on what you get. These types of accounts are the most trusted by Facebook and they’re the easiest to launch ads from. However, they’re pretty costly. You can spend from $5 to $50 and more for one account. And, as always, there’s no guarantee that your ad campaign won’t get banned.

But, aside from bans, there’s also an opportunity to get logged out. Your accounts’ password can be changed and the dealer that sold you that account might not agree to change it and give you another one (which happens in most cases).

Let’s look at two situations when getting logged out can seriously harm your affiliate marketing income.

1. Say, you buy 10 spend accounts, $20 each, i.e. you spend $200 for a bunch of accounts. You enter them, attach your payout cards, create ad campaigns, and give them some time to rest (not everyone risks launching campaigns right away). The next day, you see that you got logged out of 5 of your 10 accounts. The passwords have been changed and you don’t have access to their emails. During the day, you launch 5 new accounts, start making money with your launched ads and get logged out again the next day. This way, you lose $200 on accounts and whatever money you had to spend to pay off bills for unoptimized campaigns. As a result, you’ve spent your own money and haven’t had any results in a couple of days.

2. And, say, you buy 10 accounts, $20 each. But you got lucky and didn’t get logged out from any of them and were able to launch ads on 5 out of those 10 (which is a nice result), and started driving your first earnings. As usual, these accounts have $250+ spending limits. If you have a nice campaign approach, then your accounts will bring you $1000+ in a week. It’s a nice profit. Then, say, you wake up one morning and see that you’re logged out of all your accounts, they have all changed their passwords, so you can’t manage your ads anymore, these accounts go in the trash. So, you did drive a profit, but if you didn’t get logged out, then you could have worked 10-15 more days with those accounts. Such an unpleasant situation.

You can avoid getting logged out if you do a couple of things beforehand. Let’s see what these are.

1. When you first enter an account, go and turn off all notifications in the settings section. Some affiliates turn off 3-4 ads-related key notifications, but we say you turn off them all.

2. If you use your own fan page or that account’s fan page, then turn off all notifications there too. Disable direct messages on that page, disable the opportunity for others to post on your wall, etc.

If you add your own fan page, then make sure to hide it on the main Facebook page. It should not be seen among Quick Links on the left and in the Your Pages section on the right.

3. If you know the account’s password, then turn off notifications about questionable account logs in the security settings section. This way, the account owner won’t get notified about someone entering their account.

We’re done with the main settings, now let’s talk about what to do with the ads section.

1. When in Facebook Ads Manager, click on the bell sign on the bottom. Click on the settings sign and turn off all notifications there.

2. Next to that bell icon, there’s also one setting icon – these are your ads account settings. Click on it, then click on the planet icon on the left panel. Turn off the switch and click Save on the bottom.

3. If you use Business Manager in your work and have already done everything we’ve mentioned above before you connected your Business Manager account here and added your fan page on there, then you need to disable all those notifications settings once again. You see, when a fan page gets connected to a new asset – your Business Manager – its notifications are all enabled.

4. If you access your ads account through the Business Manager, then click on the bell and settings icons we’ve talked about before and turn off all notifications again.

5. Open your Business Manager settings. Scroll the settings on the left panel to the bottom, find the notifications section, and turn them off. Also, go to the Company Details section and turn off 2 switches there.

This is all with the notifications. If you do everything we’ve just listed, then the odds of you getting logged out will be much lower.

We recommend you go through the main account settings once in a while. Click on the bell icon in the top part of the screen and see if it’s got any ads-related notifications. If not, then you’re golden. If there are, then delete them and check all those steps we mentioned above. It’s okay to forget to turn something off when you work with many accounts.

Don’t enter Facebook Ads from that Facebook account too often. Leave the Facebook Ads tab open when disabling your account in the anti-detect browser. This is necessary so that the Facebook Ads access button doesn’t move up on the main page of your Facebook account. Commonly used sections usually go on top. So just don’t risk it.

Well, if you do everything we’ve just told you, then you’ll minimize the risk of getting logged out of your account. However, there’s always a small chance you will anyway.

Right now, Facebook ads are launching so well that trend accounts are sort of irrelevant for us. We have our own account farming system, so we can pass the checkpoint. To minimize the risk of getting logged out, we use 2-step authentication via 2fa.live. I can recommend using different linkages, adding several administrators to the ad account, though I’m not sure these practices are helpful today.

If you work with trend accounts then I recommend you use good proxies. Also, everything you do right after entering a trend account triggers Facebook. So, if you don’t do anything the first day you access a new account, you’ll reduce the likelihood of getting logged out.
